Made to measure / bespoke furniture
At Lewis Furniture we have 13 years of ‘made to measure’ experience. We work with our customers to produce ‘one off’ pieces of furniture to suit their tastes and exact specifications and requirements. Perfect for those awkward spaces, treasured ornaments, to cover that unsightly pipe or house those over sized books!
Please do not be put off by the term 'made to measure', it sounds expensive but you will probably be pleasantly surprised.
If you live locally Scott Lewis (owner) will come out to your house at a time convenient to you to take measurements, offer advice and possibly even inspire you. If you would prefer to bring in your own designs and measurements * into one of our shops we can assist and give you a quote. You also have the option of posting or emailing your drawings and measurements. Lighting and glazing can be incorporated.
To give you some ideas, here are just a few items that we have produced… shelving, chests of drawers, cabinets, wardrobes, toy boxes, bedsides, beds, tables, pews, coffee tables, blanket boxes, shoe racks, desks, alcove units, computer workstations, floating shelves, bookcases, dressers, fitted wardrobes, vanity units, kitchens, libraries, mirrors, doors to list a few.
Scott can work in a range of timbers, oak, pine, beech, and in a variety of styles from modern shaker to traditional farmhouse style. With the added luxury of having your new piece of furniture colour matched to blend in with your existing furniture. Please appreciate it is impossible to colour match without having seen your furniture so we would expect you to provide a colour sample to be matched to.
All quotations are free and non obligatory.
Conception to completion of made to measure furniture generally takes approx. 6-7 weeks.
