Ordering Information, Terms & Conditions
How to order furniture
We hope you enjoy browsing through our beautiful ranges of furniture and then when you feel ready to place an order you can email us or if you would rather deal with us in person please ring the shop. We promise to reply to email enquiries within 48 hours. If you require further details or dimensions we can also deal with this via email or telephone. If you have visited our shop and seen something in our catalogues but cannot find it on our site please feel free to let us know so we can forward these details to you.
Orders may be placed via Email. However, we will require a 20% deposit over the telephone at one of our shops at point of order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your furniture to be ready from point of order subject to availability. We will advise you of a more accurate time scale at point of order.
Ordering Bespoke/Made to measure furniture
Our bespoke service allows you to email or post your designs or dimensions to us and we will give you a price to have your ideas brought to life and colour matched to your style or to match your other furniture. If you would rather discuss your options in person please ring either of the shops.
If you live locally Scott Lewis (owner) will even come out to your house at a time convenient to you to take measurements, offer advice and possibly even inspire you. Quotations are free and non obligatory.
Please note we do not take responsibility for made to measure furniture where the customer has given incorrect measurements. So please check your measurements. Bespoke/made to measure furniture is non returnable and non refundable.
Delivery of Furniture
We offer free local delivery within a 10 mile radius and can now offer UK wide delivery starting from just £50. If you would like to know how much a delivery of an item/items of furniture will be please email your location. Delivery time scales and costs will be discussed and agreed at point of order. Where possible our deliveries are carried out by a local company who ensure that your item is delivered safely, in pristine condition and on time.
How to Buy Our Gifts and Home Accessories
Please enjoy browsing our wide and varied selection of gifts and home accessories and when you are ready to make a purchase simply click on the “BUY” option next to each item. Please ensure that you clarify where required colours and quantity. We will aim to dispatch your item/items within 7 working days of purchase subject to availability which we will advise you of at point of purchase. If there is going to be a delay we will email you.
As with our furniture if you have visited our shop and seen something that you cannot find on our site please feel free to let us know so we can forward these details to you. All items seen in our shop can be posted out but as you can appreciate it would be too time consuming to list all our product on our site. Again all gift email enquiries will be answered within 48 hours.
Payment Methods
Please feel safe when purchasing from our site, we use Paypal as our secure payment method. Paypal is a world leader in online payments, so you can guarantee that you are protected by the latest secure payment technology, we do not take any of your payment details from our shopping pages, this is all done with the security of Paypal at the checkout.
If you would prefer, you can telephone us instead. We are available to take your order from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday (Closed Thursdays). We accept all major credit and debit cards, or you can send us a UK cheque with guarantee card number on the reverse, payable to Lewis Furniture Ltd. All receipts will be sent out with items.
Furniture Returns/Refund Policy
Our furniture is double checked for faults prior to dispatch to you and in the rare cases where damage is found, we will notify you immediately of the new delivery time scale. If you still find your item is not to your satisfaction, please contact us immediately to arrange collection or repair.
Gifts & Home Accessories Returns/Refund Policy
If your item/items arrive in an unsatisfactory condition or your item is faulty please contact us immediately. We will ask you to repackage your item and return it to us within 5 days of delivery for replacement, repair or refund. We ask that you return the item in its original condition, ie, not washed or repaired, and still labelled where possible. Replacement items will be sent out subject to availability.
‘Dislike’ or ‘change of heart’ are not legitimate reasons for a refund and therefore will not be issued.
Item Descriptions Disclaimer
All care has been taken to accurately describe the furniture and gifts featured on our web site but please note some item are ‘one off’ pieces or hand crafted and therefore the description may vary slightly from the one pictured. For example, the Angel Linen Vintage Cushions. A refund will not be issued on this basis.

Gifts and home accessories will be delivered using Royal mail and occasionally Parcel Force. If there is nobody to receive delivery, the courier will leave a note with a contact telephone number and you can call to arrange for them to come again at a convenient time. You can always leave instructions with your order for a secure place to leave your package in case you're out, with a neighbour, for example. If no instructions are provided, then the courier must have a signature on receipt.
For orders outside UK and mainland Europe destinations we recommend that you email first to ascertain delivery costs.

Furniture can be delivered anywhere in the UK.

Environmental Issues and Fair Trade:
We as a company like to think that we care for the environment and people within it. We will endeavour to re-use, reduce and recycle where ever possible. For our customers this means that you can expect your purchases to be well packaged in recycled materials for you to go on recycling! We use a recycling service for all our waste cardboard and encourage people to resist a carrier bag where they can!
We like to deal with companies who believe in fair trade for their employees both in the UK and abroad and treat our employees with respect and compassion.
